PUBS may still be closed due to the coronavirus lockdown but that didn’t stop an Oxfordshire family recreating the experience as a birthday treat for their grandad.

Keith Tanner, from Kennington, has been missing his local pub and Aunt Sally team since pubs shut in March.

So his family decided to surprise him with a homemade bar along with a selection of his favourite beers.

They even made Mr Tanner his very own Aunt Sally throw so he could sharpen his skill at the popular Oxfordshire game.

The family all pitched in to make the pub garden atmosphere while making sure to still follow social distancing.

Mr Tanner celebrated with his three grandsons Charlie, Harry and Isaac Ward.
