Oxfordshire Community Foundation CEO Jayne Woodley said it was time to seek out a new challenge.

Under her leadership, OCF has transformed from grant maker to an organisation focused on schemes to help the disadvantaged.

Most recently she established a community resilience fund in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the fund has quickly built to more than £1 million.

She said: “I am incredibly proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to lead OCF as CEO.

“Now it feels right that someone new has the chance to build on the organisation’s legacy and progress.”

The foundation said that Ms Woodley had been instrumental in increasing its annual grant making to worthy causes from £300,000 to £1.3 million.

She added: “I am proud of the strong team, and the support of the trustees, donors and community partners.”

She will leave on June 30 and Adrian Sell will become Interim CEO until the end of the year.
