OXFORDSHIRE faith and civic leaders will today call for more support in the fight against racism and misogyny at the first meeting of the new Thames Valley Citizens’ Alliance.
The Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Rev Dr Steven Croft will attend the online assembly with the Bishop of Dorchester, the Rt Rev Colin Fletcher, along with Thames Valley Police Commissioner Anthony Stansfield and many others.
They will also be calling for a Living Wage for social care workers; carbon neutral targets for Thames Valley Police, and allocating more police officer time to school engagement so the police may forge better relationships with young people.
