A BLACK Lives Matter (BLM) protest has been organised to take place in Abingdon this weekend with activists saying they want the gathering to mark 'a turning point in local history of race relations and racial justice'.

On Sunday residents will be coming together in solidarity with the black community to speak out against police brutality and racial discrimination as a part of the BLM movement.
