Amateur photographers from Oxfordshire scooped £600 awards for their work.

'Heart of My World' is a photo competition run by housing association Sovereign.

It is designed to inspire locals across the south of England to have fun, get creative and form a connection with the their community.

Stunning family images that captured the eye of judges votes in the competition entered by residents of all ages.

Runner up of 'Heart M World' was seven-year-old Lacey Broughton with a portrait of herself and her feline.

Her mother Kelly said: "My daughter took this photo of herself and her cat Dot, who has been by her side the last couple of months.

"Lacey does not have any siblings, so Dot has been her best friend and they love playing together."

Runners up Lucy Motherway, 28, submitted a photo of her dog and Ann Faulkner, 65, entered a picture of her granddaughter Kairi.
