OXFORD United fans are being urged to make their voices heard before Monday's Sky Bet League One play-off final at Wembley.

The game against Wycombe Wanderers will be played behind closed doors, but U's supporters can get behind their team with a "Yell for the Yellows" at 6pm on the day of the match.

People across Oxfordshire are being asked to stop what they are doing and cheer for United as they seek to win promotion to the Championship for the first time since 1999.

It will take place 90 minutes before kick-off and be broadcast live on BBC Radio Oxford.

Fans showed their backing through displays of flags, banners and cardboard cut-outs in the semi-final second leg penalty shoot-out victory over Portsmouth.

Paul Peros, chair of the U's independent supporters' trust OxVox, believes it could give Karl Robinson's side the extra boost they need against Wycombe.

He told BBC Oxford: "We want people to do anything they can to remind the players that we're right behind them.

"These things really are making a difference.

"Karl Robinson is an emotional guy and this all resonates with him."
