MASKED men broke into a house and threatened the residents with a baseball bat and knuckle duster.

It happened at around 9.30pm on Sunday, September 6. 

The two men broke into the house on Chillingworth Crescent, Wood Farm and threatened the two men and two women who are in their twenties and thirties.

One of the victims was hit with a baseball bat on the leg. 

Two laptops and two mobile phones were stolen and one phone was later found in The Slade. 

The first robber is described as a white man, around 6ft tall and wearing a balaclava. 

he was also wearing black workman gloves with white writing on the back of the hand and was carrying a silver and white metal baseball bat. 

The second offender is described as a white man, tall with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing a black ski mask, black clothing and a glove on his right hand.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Hayward based at St Aldates police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.

“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen two men get into a white car parked outside the address around the time of the incident.

“I ask that anyone who has CCTV in the area to please check their footage and come forward if you could help with my investigation.
