Bonfire night has been cancelled in Long Wittenham this year.
The annual village fireworks display will not go ahead because of coronavirus restrictions.

Organiser Jenny Caw said: “We delayed the decision to postpone as long as we could, but the current guidelines for outdoor events would make it impossible to run it as we would wish, and it is unlikely that conditions will have changed by November.
“The good news is that the company which supplies the fireworks has agreed to carry over our deposit to next year.
"We hope that next year’s will be back - bigger and even better than previous years - on Saturday November 6, 2021”
