Oxford is still on 'amber alert' and could soon shoot to the top of the UK's coronavirus hotspots in the 'blink of an eye' if people do not obey the 'rule of six'.

The start warning was from the county's Director of Public Health after Oxford once again reached 'amber alert' due to the rising number of coronavirus cases.

It comes after a shocking video was unearthed of selfish students completely ignoring social distancing rules at a huge party at Oxford Brookes.

The University has even admitted that the students are behind a 'small but growing' number of coronavirus cases in the city.

The pictures taken yesterday lunchtime show busy streets but crowds largely following the government 'rule of six'.

The pictures are completely different from March when the whole country was put on lockdown and the streets were eerily empty. (read: 15 pictures of Oxford in lockdown)
