PLANS to sell an Oxfordshire town hall have been denied by the council.
It is rumoured that Didcot town council is planning to contract someone to run the Civic Hall in a commercial rather than a community undertaking and had a meeting in June about the matter.

The town clerk denied this accusation and said: “I can confirm that I am not aware of any discussions concerning the contracting out of the Civic Hall as a commercial undertaking. I am not aware of any meeting in June – like the rest of the country we were on lockdown and the Civic Hall was closed.”
