DOG owners have been asked to sign their pets up to be potentially lifesaving blood donors.
Boundary Vets in Abingdon is making a plea ahead of hosting a donor session with the national charity Pet Blood Bank (PBB) UK on Sunday.
The family-run practice is one of many across the country which receive lifesaving blood and plasma from PBB.

But the coronavirus pandemic has affected donations to the emergency blood bank service, prompting Boundary Vets to appeal to pet owners to consider signing up their dogs.
