A FLOOD warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for Christchurch Harbour.
Sea spray overtopping is forecast along the coast as a result of high tides on Saturday October 31.
The agency said: “Forecast high water is 9.30am on Saturday with a level of 1.26 mAOD and a force seven southerly wind.
Conditions may apply one to two hours either side of the high tide.
“Continuing strong winds may cause additional wave overtopping throughout the day on Saturday.
“We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Christchurch Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Stour and Avon.
“Flooding of properties is not forecast at this point.
“We are closely monitoring the situation. Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads.”
