A WOMAN assaulted a police officer during a homophobic tirade.
Sinead Scanlon, of Hathaways, Wheatley, pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker at Abingdon Police Station on November 7 last year.
The 30-year-old also admitted using ‘homophobically aggravated’ threatening, abusive or insulting words towards the officer.

It came after Scanlon resisted police and used threatening or abusive words in Hathaways that day.
She was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court and ordered to pay compensation of £200 and court costs of £85.
