SCOUT groups have cancelled their popular Christmas card delivery services that usually take place in December.

The annual in-person service is the main fundraising activity for the Wantage and Grove group but the Covid-19 crisis has meant that the festive greetings cannot be delivered safely.

A spokesperson for the organisations revealed this represents a 'big financial loss' and urged people, who have previously ordered and enjoyed the Christmas service, to donate to the cause.

All proceeds will be split Wantage and Grove Scout groups.
