A care home has raised more than £600 for the Royal British Legion.
Marston Court care home, in Oxford, organised a series of poppy-themed challenges to raise money for the cause.
Both residents and team members at the home got involved.

Challenges included sewing and knitting poppies, creating a poppy wreath, cycling to 11 war memorials, baking cakes, losing 11lbs in weight, reading poems and singing wartime songs.
Activities Coordinator Paul Lucas said: “Thank you to everyone who has supported us.
“We are extremely proud of the Marston Court Family - residents and staff have come together in a great show of unity and commitment and we are delighted with the amount raised for a cause very close to our hearts.”

Marston Court resident Betty Longshaw, who used to collect for the Royal British Legion, said: “It’s very important that we remember these people and the more money we can make for them (the Royal British Legion), the better it is.”
