AN ABANDONED car is causing chaos on the A34, near an Oxfordshire village.

Drivers have been warned that a stranded vehicle is currently blocking a lane on the A34 Northbound and the Peartree Interchange A44 towards Islip.

In a post on social media Highways England said: "The owner nowhere to be seen, we are in the process of getting this vehicle removed off the network."
