A MINI festive market organised by a Didcot fundraising group will be bringing festive cheer on Sunday.

Thirty stalls will be at the Market Place including crafts stalls, charities, a tombola, choir and food and drink.

The event, which aims to raise up to £1000 for Play2Give, begins at 10am and runs until 3pm.

Supported by Didcot Events, the team behind the town's annual Christmas Street Fair, which was a casualty of Coronavirus this year, the mini market is designed to help sprinkle some festive cheer.

The group said food and drink would be on offer, and Santa would be 'ho-ho-hoing' along to the festivities, located outside Wilko.

A choir and Michael Buble-tribute singer Albie J will be performing.

Play2Give, which was set up in 2007, raises funds for a number of charities in the county with Oxford Children's Hospital as one of its key beneficiaries.

The organisation has raised around £230,000 in over 13 years and earlier this year founder Andy Baker received recognition from the Prime Minister with a Points of Light award.
