A new Christmas shop opened in Oxfordshire today.
Located on Orchard Street in Didcot, the new festive shop called The Christmas Store, is filled with Christmas necessities such as tinsel and wrapping paper, and shop the owners are delighted they were given the go-ahead to open.
Charlie Wheatley from the Christmas store said: “It has been a hard decision whether or not to bring the Christmas shop to Didcot, and for a long time we were not sure if it was even possible with the government restrictions.
“However, we have been working hard to prepare the store with everything you will need from kids toys to wrapping paper, tinsel and tree decorations.
“We decided that it is what we all need right now at these strange times. We are determined that Covid will not ruin Christmas, of course the store is completely Covid safe with social distancing in place and sanitisers. The safety of our staff and customers is our most top priority.”
