Cumbria has seen two more people – who had received a positive Covid-19 test – die in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest gov.uk figures, one person from Copeland and one person from Carlisle have lost their lives, after testing positive for coronavirus within the past 28 days.
There have been no further deaths recorded in Allerdale, Eden, Barrow, or South Lakeland.
A further 45 people in the county have received a positive test:
- Allerdale – 11
- Carlisle – 12
- Copeland – three
- Barrow – two
- Eden – eight
- South Lakeland – nine
Cumbria remains in Tier Two (the High Alert category), with restrictions of six people attending outdoor gatherings, and pubs closing their doors, unless able to operate as a restaurant.
