A MAN caught driving without a seatbelt has been fined.

David Mark Easton was convicted of driving a silver Ford without a seatbelt on June 26 in Mill Street, Wantage.

He was also convicted of driving without any third-party insurance in Wantage the following day.

​The 35-year-old, of Stockham Park, Wantage, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on December 1.

He was fined £880 in total and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. 

His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
