AN OXFORDSHIRE town has been named as one of the worst places to live in England.

Didcot has been ranked the 44th worst place in a new survey by the satirical website I Live Here, after a 'record-breaking' 125,681 people voted.

The online contributors have been far from kind about the area, with scathing reviews on the page saying that the town 'seems trapped in a time-bubble' with 'trendy high-street stores that rub shoulders uncomfortably with pound shops, Greggs bakeries and vape stores'.

Above Didcot on the list was neighbouring areas like Reading, Slough and Aylesbury.
