The fundraiser behind the annual Secret Santa appeal is now helping families with home schooling by providing laptops.

Courtney Hughes from Didcot is determined not to let the barrier of no equipment hold any child back from learning.

Families contacted Ms Hughes worried as the tech they have at home is not sufficient to the needs of their children and in some cases children of different school ages are sharing.

To solve this problem Ms Hughes is working with local computer wizards to provide some laptops and equipment to support families.

The appeal is requesting donations of laptops and tablets from the public and will accept working and non-working laptops, ideally with webcams.

The Secret Santa team also need donations to buy laptop parts.

Ms Hughes' team of computer elves will refurbish the laptops to a standard that will support learning platforms.
