MORE than half of the homes at a major estate in Oxfordshire have been purchased by first-time buyers.

Homes part of the Grove Meadows development, off Station Road in Grove, are now fully sold out.

Construction of the final few homes is now in its last phase, with the last of the new residents due to move in early in the next few months.

The development has provided a total of 204 homes.

This included 84 affordable homes for shared ownership and rental.

Luke Southgate, sales director for Bellway Northern Home Counties, commented on the success: "From the moment we launched Grove Meadows, it was clear it would be popular with first-time buyers.

"We had designed a range of homes from two-bedroom properties through to four-bedroom houses at prices, which were accessible to the local market.

"Grove is a fantastic location and it offers excellent value for Oxfordshire."
