THAMES Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after four serious incidents across Oxfordshire this week.  

In appeals online, officers have urged anybody who saw something or recognises the men in the CCTV to get in touch.

  • Thieves threaten residents with 'crowbar'

Last week police appealed for witnesses after burglars broke into a house in Cumnor and made threats with a 'baton and crowbar'. 

It happened at around 6.45pm on Friday January 8 at a house in Hurst Lane. 

Police said they were confronted by the occupants of the home, a woman and three men, and an 'altercation' took place.

  • Woman sexually assaulted shopping in Boots 

Herald Series:

A 24-year-old woman was shopping at the Oxford Retail Park store, on Ambassador Avenue, at around 4.20pm on December 12 when she was touched by a man over her clothing. 

Thames Valley Police have now released this CCTV image of a man who might be able to help with the investigation.

  • Assault in Aldi car park 

Herald Series:

A man was pushed in the chest after an argument at Aldi car park. 

At around 11.05am on December 11 the man, who is in his 50s, was in the Horspath Driftway retail park in Cowley when he saw another man shouting at a woman in her car. 

He approached him and they started aruging but the man then pushed him in the chest and left the scene.

  • Man repeatedly kicked by group of thugs 

A man had his phone stolen in a 'frightening' robbery on Monday night. 

The 28-year-old was walking through Sandy Lane Park, near to the junction of Balfour Road, at around 11pm on January 11 when he was hit from behind by a group of five thugs and then repeatedly kicked on the floor.
