OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

MATTHEW JAMES MOODY, 29, of Market End Way, Bicester, admitted assault by beating a woman on October 14 in Bicester. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £84.

NATHANIAL PADAR, 29, of Rackham Place, Summertown, admitted assault by beating a man on June 17 in Oxford. He was made subject to a restraining order and must not go to a location in Oxford until July 2021. He was fined £76, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

EDWIN WEST, 75, of West View, Oxford, admitted assault by beating of a woman and criminal damage to ornamental crockery on August 31 in Oxford. He was made subject to a restraining order and must not contact the victim by any means, including social media, until July 2021. He was fined £268 in total, must pay compensation of £100 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

SIMONE ADAMS, 31, of Queen Street, Banbury, was convicted of driving at 53mph in a 30mph zone on October 3 in Chipping Norton. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

MARTIN ANDERSON, 37, of Churchill Place, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information about the identification of a driver, who was allegedly guilty of a driving offence, when required between September 17 and October 15 in Banbury. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

JULIEANN BRUTON, 21, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted driving at 80mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 southbound on September 30. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

ADAM CAVE, 36, of Bridus Mead, Didcot, admitted driving at 56mph in a 30mph zone on Bayswater Road, Oxford on October 7. He was fined £543, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £54 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

GEORGIA GOFF, 24, of Holt Weer Close, Oxford, admitted driving at 76mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 southbound on October 30. She was fined £327, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

ZILLAH GOODE, 41, of Albert Neechhelling Drive, Wantage, admitted driving at 58mph in a 50mph zone on the A339 in Newbury. She was fined £39, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

NICHOLAS MUGFORD, 71, of High Street, Kidlington, was convicted of failing to give information about a driver, suspected of a driving offence, when required between September 22 and October 20 in Banbury. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

GUOFENG QIAO, 40, of London Road, Headington, admitted driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone on Headington Road, Oxford on September 4. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

DAVID WILLIAMS, 64, of Longfields, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on December 14 in Launton Road, Bicester. He had 84mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 20 months.

NICHOLAS BOURNE, 55, of Willow Drive, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on October 18 at Baynards Green. He had 64mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £300. He was also disqualified from driving for 17 months.

JOSEPH WENMAN, 33, of Milton Road, Drayton, was convicted of driving a vehicle that did not meet the requirements of insurance on November 28, 2019. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £110.

THOMAS HASSALL, 32, of Hope Close, Banbury, admitted remaining on a premises that had been closed by a closure order on January 16 and January 22 at Juniper Close, Banbury. He was made subject of a restraining order and must not attend Juniper Close until 2023. He was also fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

REBECCA NUTTALL, 30, of Hope Close, Banbury, admitted remaining on a premises that had been closed by a closure order on January 16 and January 22 at Juniper Close, Banbury. She was made subject of a restraining order and must not attend Juniper Close until 2023. She was also fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

TIMOTHY LITTLE, 54, of Harwood Close, Headington, admitted begging in a public place – namely Cornmarket Street, Oxford – on December 2, 4, 5, 11, 12 and 13. He was fined £240 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

STUART GOUDIE, 41, of Alice Smith Square, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of rum, costing £34, from Tesco in Oxford on July 17 and 18 as well as a bottle of Bacardi, costing £17, and a bottle of gin, costing £34, from the same shop on July 15. He also admitted stealing a bottle of whisky and bottle of gin, costing £34, from Tesco on July 16. He was made subject of a community order and must not enter Tesco in Cowley for six months until July 24. He must also attend appointments with an officer for 10 days and pay compensation of £153.

JOHN GREEN, 48, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing alcohol, costing £28.50, from Tesco in Oxford on January 13 as well breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) by carrying alcohol in a public place in Oxford on January 13 and 25. He also admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 18. He was sentenced for the original offences of four counts of racially or religiously aggravated harassment and five counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words to cause harassment or fear. He was made subject of a community order and must have treatment for his alcohol dependency under the direction of the National Probation Service for 12 months and take part in appointments for 10 days. He was also banned from entering Tesco on Cowley Road for three months and must pay compensation of £28.50.
