PARLIAMENT will debate a scheme to tackle flooding in South Oxfordshire next week.
Oxford West and Abingdon MP Layla Moran secured a debate in the House of Commons next Wednesday after she urged the Minister responsible for flooding to 'reconsider the Abingdon Flood Alleviation Scheme'.

Ms Moran also appealed to the Government to 'get its act together' to fund more defences and prevention measures in Abingdon.

"The Government needs to get its act together to fund more defences and prevention measures in our area - the climate crisis is not going away."
