Basingstoke and Deane Council's attempt to re-unite an adorable collie with her owner has been unsuccessful, the council confirmed on Friday.
The officers have now moved the dog to a rescue home, hoping to find a permanent new home for the lovely canine.

Last week, the council had issued an appeal for the public's help in re-uniting the collie with her owner.
The dog, whose name is not known, was found in Pack Lane, Oakley on April 21.
She does have a microchip, but the details are not up to date.
The tri-colour collie, around five years old, was carrying a pink ball when she was found.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s Dog Warden Laura Yeates said: “This lovely collie was found on Wednesday 21 April in Pack Lane, Oakley.
"We’ve had such a wonderful response to our appeal to find her owner on social media and I am amazed she has not been claimed yet.
"She is obedient, well-mannered and very loving. Someone must be missing her."
