Two people have been charged in relation to a murder investigation that occurred in Didcot in January last year.

Zarahn Zaman, 20, of Weavers Hill, Milton Keynes, was charged with assisting an offender, committing an act/series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice, and failing to comply with a Section 49 notice to disclose the key to protected information.

Aiysha Lazereg, 20, of no fixed abode, has been charged with assisting an offender.

Both Zaman and Lazereg have been charged via postal requisition in connection with the investigation into the murder of 44-year-old Darren MacCormick in Mendip Heights in Didcot on January 9, 2020.

Both Zaman and Lazereg are due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 15 June.
