TWO adults and a young child were left ‘relatively unscathed’ following a car crash yesterday.

Crews from fire stations at Burford, Carterton and Kidlington attended the two-car collision in Monahan Way, Carterton.

Thames Valley Police closed the road so the crews and South Central Ambulance Service could safely remove an adult who was trapped.

The car roof was removed so the person could be rescued.

Another adult and young child managed to get out the vehicle relatively unscathed.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service thanked an RAF medic who was on the scene to provide first aid prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
