David Oldfield's side travel to Essex on Saturday, August 14, in what will be their first competitive game for almost six months.

City's opening home match is against Concord Rangers a week later, as they prepare to welcome fans after playing behind closed doors for the majority of last season.

Oldfield's men will host Slough Town on Boxing Day, as they were due to last season.

The 2020 fixture was postponed hours before kick-off after both sides were affected by Covid-19.

City visit the Berkshire side in their first match of 2022, which falls on Sunday, January 2.

They host Hungerford Town on Good Friday, before travelling to Chippenham Town on Easter Monday.

The season ends on Saturday, May 7, with a trip to Bath City.

City were fourth in National League South before the 2020/21 campaign was controversially cancelled in February.
