New show homes are now open at the new Kings Gate development in Abingdon.

The properties on Wootton Road are the four-bedroom Avondale and five-bedroom Lichfield style.

The 200-home community currently offers a selection of three- and four-bedroom properties.

Rob Allen, sales director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “We are pleased to have launched our new show homes at Kings Gate and look forward to welcoming keen homebuyers to the development on an appointment-only basis.

“This growing community is set in a location that offers residents easy access to nearby amenities, as well as being in close proximity to the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

“We encourage anyone interested in taking a tour around the show homes to book an appointment with one of our Sales Advisers and meet their dream home.”

The S106 agreement for the development totals £4,219,284.

Section 106 Agreements are legal agreements or obligations between local authorities and developers linked to planning permissions and will be used to support services and improve the town’s facilities.

Kings Gate will bring over £2.9million worth of investment for primary education facilities, in addition to £746,114 in the form of a highways contribution to Oxfordshire County Council.

The remainder of the investment will also cover bus shelter and cycle parking contributions.
