FIREFIGHTERS had to make a dramatic rescue through a bedroom window when a resident - who desperatley needed hospital treatment - fell unconscious.
At aroud 8am yesterday, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service were called by paramedics to a home in Wallingford.
Crews from Didcot and Oxford's Rewley Road station raced to the scene and using a hydraulic platform to get up to the first floor.
They removed the window to make more space inside so that the patient could be lifted down into the waiting ambulance.
Writing on Facebook, the fire service explained: "A great peice of partnership working and patient was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
