The running of the Christmas Polar Express Train Ride has been cancelled due to urgent sewage works.
Cholsey and Wallingford railway are hosting the steam train and Christmas immersive theatre experience this year.
The experience brings the 2004 classic Christmas film The Polar Express to life on its steam strain.
However, today the railway company said it has been forced to make the “difficult decision” to cancel the train ride at short notice.

In a Facebook post the Cholsey and Wallingford railway volunteers said: “Urgent sewage works by Thames Water means we have no toilet facilities on site. This has been a difficult decision but unfortunately one completely out of our control with very little notice.”
The Polar Express Train Ride is only cancelled for Sunday December 19.
The railway company said the situation is beyond their control and are offering their customers refunds or the opportunity to rebook in 2022.
