The winners of a Herald Series competition were "surprised" and "delighted" with their prizes just in time for Christmas.
The competition winners from across Oxfordshire won a range of prizes including iPads, Nintendo Switches and gift vouchers.
Jean Woodham from Abingdon was very pleased to win a £100 M&S voucher.
She said: "I was delighted, I get the paper regularly but I did not expect to win anything. I don't normaly win anything."
Mrs Woodham added that as she is staying away from crowds this Christmas she will be waiting until the new year to go shopping.
Brenda Chessurn from Grove was "thrilled" to win a voucher of £100 for Argos.
She said: " I was very surprised, very thrilled."
She added: "I only had a 2nd class stamp when I posted it, so the Royal Mail also did quite well."
Mrs Chessurn wants to spend the money in the new year sales and hopes to get her hands on a new vacuum cleaner.

Ros Alterman from Wantage also won a £100 Argos voucher just in time to cheer up her Christmas.
She said: "I was very surprised, when the call came it was completely out of the blue. It was just in time for Christmas."
John Clark from Steventon said his prize of a Nintendo switch was "totally out of the blue."
The Grandfather of two said his 11 and 13-year-old grandchildren will be getting a "very unexpected Christmas present".
Sharon Few from Didcot was very pleased with her £100 M&S voucher and said it must have been her lucky week.
She said: "It was a complete surprise winning the vouchers. I don't normally do competitions, I just thought as a one off I would do it this time."
She added: "I haven't spent the vouchers yet, but I will treat myself after Christmas."
Beverlie Blee from Abingdon said she was "astonished" to win a prize.
Mrs Blee won a £150 Halfords voucher which she said will be very useful when she needs to replace her car tyres.
