A PANTOMIME has been postponed due to the rising cases of the Omicron variant.

Abingdon Drama Club were set to perform Dick Whittington from January 7 to 15 at the Unicorn Theatre in Abingdon.

But due to the pandemic, it has decided to postpone performances until April 2022.

Club member Kevin Thomson said: "Exact dates will be advised as soon as possible. Thanks for bearing with us and for your invaluable support. See you in April when, hopefully, this will all be behind you!"

Dick Whittington is about the classic tale of a young lad going to London to make his fortune and his adventures with new best friend, Tommy the cat.
