Members of an art group held a watercolour exhibition in memory of 'well known Abingdon figure' and art club founder Margaret White.
Abingdon artist, Margaret White founded the Tranquil Brush painting group more than 30 years ago after she found a passion for Chinese brush painting.
Chinese Brush Painting is the art of using simple brush strokes to illustrate a figure or scene.
Mrs White died in her late eighties in October last year, and in her memory the Tranquil Brush painting group decided to hold a retrospective exhibition.

The watercolour exhibition features paintings in a Chinese brush painting style. One wall features work from the Tranquil Brush painting group members and one wall is dedicated to Mrs White's work.
Jean Wykes a member of the Tranquil Brush painting group said Mrs White was a 'well known Abingdon figure' who was part many Abingdon associations and community groups. She explained that Mrs White started the painting group to encourage and support others interested in the art form.
Mrs Wykes said: "Margaret was an inspiration to us all, finding fun and sharing laughter, keeping as fit and well groomed as she was able. As she said, she set herself high standards and likewise expected high standards from others. May she Rest In Peace."
The retrospective exhibition is at the Artyard Café in Enstone, Wednesday to Sunday from 12-11pm until January 30.
