JACK Davies has returned to parent club MK Dons following a loan spell at Oxford City.

The 19-year-old centre back joined City in August, going on to make 19 appearances while keeping six clean sheets.

He played a key role as the Hoops played three at the back this season under David Oldfield, who left to take the manager’s position at National League side Weymouth on Tuesday.

A club statement read: “Everyone at Oxford City FC would like to thank Jack for his contribution during his time at the Velocity Stadium and wish him every success in the future.”

City, in fourth, make the trip to Welling United tomorrow, hoping to rectify a slump in form having won once in their last six.

Welling are 18th in National League South.
