A CAMPAIGN group is set to host village hall meetings to discuss the controversial plans for a huge reservoir near Abingdon.
The proposed Abingdon Reservoir would flood farmland between Steventon, East Hanney and Drayton.
Campaigners from Group Against Abingdon Reservoir (GARD) have been opposing the plans for a reservoir in Abingdon since 1996, when plans were first revealed.
Councillors and residents say the reservoir would destroy natural habitats, disruptive for villagers and say there are better alternatives to provide water.
