People in the hair and beauty industry - including, nail bars, tattooists and ear-piercing establishments – have been invited to a free online training event on domestic abuse next month.
The training is tailored especially for members of this industry to provide guidance on how they could help a domestic abuse victim.
It hopes to highlight the impact of domestic abuse and give attendees the opportunity to find out what can be done to support any college or client in this situation.

Domestic abuse affects one in three women and one in six men in their lifetime. As it can impact anybody, organisers explained they want to better equip people to be able to support and signpost those affected.
This event is a collaboration between Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse and funded by the South and Vale Community Safety Partnership.
