A fighter jet that stood as a landmark outside Grove Business Park came crashing down in the strong winds of storm Eunice.
On Friday villagers watched the plane, which is a de Havilland Venom, shake in the wind and collapse at 10.30 am on Friday.

The plane fell from where it was suspended, and it now sits barricaded off on the side of the road.
The future of the community landmark remains uncertain, but villagers are hopeful it will be restored.
