Being cast as the dame, Widow Twankey, came as a surprise to inexperienced John Marshall from Ardington, but he assures that the character will not disappoint.

Mr Marshall said: "Being cast as the dame is somewhat at odds with my day-job providing technical assistance to customers, but Widow Twankey's larger-than-life character hopefully justifies my missed lines, out of tune singing, and wrongly-timed actions."
