A BRAIN injury survivor who has dedicated his life to raising money for good causes, has already raised more than £4,500 this year.

Didcot's Andy Baker, who founded Play2Give in 2007, aims to raise £15,000 in 2022 to celebrate 15 years of the organisation – which has already raised more than £380,000 since he launched it.

About £3,500 was raised at its third gala ball, which had a Hollywood theme, at Didcot Civic Hall last month.

Other fundraising events this year will include the return of its annual football tournament in July, a family fun on the park day at Boundary Park in September and a skydiving event.

The group has also launched its second annual Easter egg appeal, in which eggs donated to the organisation are given to the Oxford Children's Hospital and to siblings and families of patients in the NCU at the John Radcliffe Hospital via charity SSNAP – Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents.
