A NEW bounce park measuring 4,762 square foot is coming to multiple places across Oxfordshire this month.
Gareth Tucker, 33, is the man behind the giant park and came up with the idea in June last year.
Mr Tucker, who also owns a sports company called Elite Sports, wanted to bring the experience of an inflatable park closer to families so they don’t have to travel.
He said: “I started a second company called Elite Bounce for people to hire a bouncy castle in case things fell through with Elite Sports in the pandemic as I need to support my family.
“That grew which is fantastic and that brought round the park idea as the closest inflatable park is in Milton Keynes which is an hour and a half away.
“The idea with this is that we can travel around Oxfordshire so people don’t have to travel far away for that experience – we’re bringing it to them.”
Mr Tucker, who lives in Abingdon, then sent the designs for the park to a manufacturer at the end of October 2021 and saw the final product for the first-time last month.
He said: “I’m looking forward to getting it off the ground. I’m nervous as you are with most things in life but a lot of work has gone into it and it’s nice to have the end product.”
