A NEW “outer space” themed public exhibition is opening at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus near Didcot.

The free and permanent exhibition, which opens tomorrow (29), will be at the corner of Eighth Street and Rutherford Avenue roundabout.

It was put together by the campus in partnership with the Geological Society. The exhibition, named “Spacescapes: postcards from our solar system”, includes large displays featuring information and images of the solar system.

“Taking in these incredible images, which feel both familiar and alien, people can do the work of planetary scientists by comparing and contrasting our home with distant planets and moons.”
