AUTHOR and comedian Mark Steel is performing in Oxfordshire next month.

The 61-year-old is performing at the Kenton Theatre, in New Street, Henley, on Thursday, June 2.

The tour, named “Every Little Thing’s Gonna be Alright”, started in September last year and has been described as “Interesting, engaging, funny” by The Mirror.

Steel, who grew up in Kent, is the star of Radio 4’s “Mark Steel’s in Town”, which he has also toured around the UK, and writes regular comments in The Guardian, The Independent and Daily Mirror.

He has presented the BAFTA-nominated “Mark Steel Lectures” for BBC2 and is a regular on BBC One’s “Have I Got News For You” and Radio 4’s “The News Quiz”.
