A MAN has been found dead at a Premier Inn Hotel in Oxfordshire.

Emergency services were at the Milton Interchange near Didcot for about seven hours on Saturday (21) wearing HAZMAT suits and breathing equipment. A car was also removed from the car park.

Thames Valley Police said it is investigating the death which is “unexplained and non-suspicious”.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “The force will prepare a file for the coroner.”

A spokesperson for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service added: “The fire and rescue service was called to assist the police and ambulance services at this incident.

“Our Detection, Identification and Monitoring team confirmed that the environment within the building was safe for Crime Scene Investigators to carry out their task.”

The Premier Inn said: "Unfortunately a guest was discovered deceased this weekend when they failed to check out on time.

"The emergency services were called and our team worked to assist them as necessary.

"Our thoughts are with the guest’s loved ones at this very sad time."
