KARL Robinson will continue to work on plans for the new season – despite jetting off on his holidays.

Oxford United will be seeking to launch a play-off push for a fourth consecutive campaign under Robinson, and he is keen to get as much work and preparation done as possible before the 2022/23 season starts.

“My laptop will be with me. I’ll make sure the background to my Zoom meetings will be one of the best out there,” he said.

“It’s important that we carry on, we’ve got a lot of work to do.

“A manager’s job is never done and I think that’s more apparent than ever.

“We don’t get a break, it’s one consistent run and that’s just part of the job that we do.”
