A 69-YEAR-OLD woman has been fined for causing an obstruction on roads in central London.

Sue Elizabeth Spencer-Longhurst, of Abbey Road, Oxford, was ordered to pay a total of £419 by East London magistrates after she wilfully obstructed the free passage at Bridge Street, Parliament Street and St Margaret Street on November 4 2021.

She pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £300.

She will also have to pay £85 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.

She was sentenced at Stratford Magistrates' Court on June 17, 2022.
