PAULO DEJESUS-GOMEZ, 33, of Cottesmore Road, Oxford, was sentenced in his absence for going equipped for theft, stealing a £1,444 bike and racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards a police officer. He was caught with an angle grinder in Oxford on November 21 last year. He was jailed in his absence for 24 weeks and was ordered to pay £183 in compensation.

RYANNA CANE, 18, of Dalbeattie Street, Manchester, admitted assault by beating. She must pay £100 in compensation and do 40 hours of unpaid work.

KATIE BANKS, 34, of New Road, Stokenchurch, admitted driving a Ford Focus while over the limit for cocaine and its derivative benzoylecgonine. She was fined £200, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

HINA MANZOOR, 32, of Griffin Lane, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Skoda Karoq on Hayfield Road, Oxford, last September while over the limit for Clonazepam. The magistrates imposed a £160 fine, 12 month driving disqualification and £1,034 in costs and surcharge.

ANDREW BROWN, 56, of Henry Taunt Close, Oxford, admitted four counts of shoplifting meat from the Co-op in Headington. He was ordered to pay almost £200 in compensation and was jailed for eight weeks for what the magistrates described as a ‘flagrant disregard’ for court orders.

AQIB AKHTAR, 24, of Bookerhill Road, High Wycombe, admitted causing a man actual bodily harm in Oxford on January 5, 2020. He was given 20 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and must complete 140 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay £750 in compensation.

DAVID PAINTIN, 41, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing an HSBC credit card in Magdalen Road, east Oxford, in April, handling a stolen bank card, using the stolen card fraudulently, and failing to surrender to the court. He must complete a stint at residential drug rehab.

WESTON MUCHEKE, 24, of Benson Road, Oxford, admitted driving a Peugeot on Hollow Way, Oxford, while over the drink drive limit. Tests showed he had 100mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The limit is 35mcgs. He was fined £300, ordered to do up to 25 sessions with the probation service and was banned from the roads for 44 months. He must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

ADEYRURA FOLARIN, 31, of Newlin Close, Oxford, was fined £240 and banned from the roads for 16 months for drink driving a Renault Clio on Headington’s London Road in May. Breathalyser tests showed the driver had 56mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The magistrates imposed £119 in costs and surcharge.

DAWID RZEPKA, 36, of Priory Road, Bicester, admitted drink driving an Audi A3 in Bicester. Tests showed he had 49mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The magistrates fined him £120, banned him from driving for 16 months and ordered he pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

MOHAMMED AMEEN, 32, of Tawney Street, Oxford, was found guilty of driving a Ford Fiesta in Denton Close on April 9 last year while over the limit for cannabis. He was fined £180, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £434 in costs and surcharge.

TIMOTHY WALL, 39, of Main Road, Long Hanborough, was found guilty of stealing a bottle of WKD from the BP garage in Eynsham last August and stealing board games from the Chipping Norton WH Smiths on September 5, 2020. He was also found guilty of assaulting a man in Chipping Norton in September 2020. He was given 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half. He was ordered to complete the thinking skills programme with the probation service and a 12 month drug rehabilitation programme. Wall must pay £15 compensation for the stolen alcopop bottle and £400 costs.
