A Wokingham man is set to be sentenced after he gave incorrect information to buyers of puppies in Berkshire.
Patrick Stokes, of Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham, admitted to misleading customers in Berkshire and Bracknell in June 2020.
He admitted eight counts of engaging in a misleading commercial practice by falsely claiming:
- A puppy had been microchipped
- A had been wormed
- A puppy had been vaccinated
- A puppy had been microchipped
- A puppy was eleven weeks old at point of sale
- A puppy was a jack russel
- A puppy had been wormed
- A puppy was 8 weeks old at point of sale
The 23-year-old is set to be sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, August 10.
